Why SolarVenti?
Discover why thousands of homeowners across Europe trust SolarVenti for a healthier indoor environment.
5 Reasons to Choose SolarVenti
SolarVenti is the most effective solution for achieving a controlled indoor climate using only solar energy.
Dehumidification
The warm, dry air produced by SolarVenti removes excess moisture, preventing mold, fungi and unpleasant odors in your rooms.
Ventilation
Continuous renewal of indoor air with fresh, filtered outdoor air, maintaining a healthy environment with zero energy costs.
Radon Gas Elimination
70-80% reduction in radon gas concentration, an invisible and odorless radioactive gas associated with lung cancer.
Heating
Outdoor air is heated up to 40°C above ambient temperature passing through the solar collector, providing free supplemental heating.
Cooling
With the optional cooling kit, SolarVenti alternates between heating and fresh cooling in summer, with zero operating costs.
Healthy Home
Humidity, ventilation and radon gas: the invisible enemies of your home.
Humidity in Modern Homes
Modern, well-insulated homes with double glazing create barriers that trap humidity inside. Condensation on interior glass is a clear sign of poor indoor climate. Many new building ventilation systems are undersized for real needs.
Poor indoor climate can lead to dry rot in walls and building structure, as well as health problems for inhabitants.
Holiday and Weekend Homes
Properties not used year-round suffer from humidity buildup and low temperatures. Closed doors and windows make homes more exposed to humidity and pollution. Typical signs include musty smells, mold, and sugar forming clumps.
Radon Gas
Radon is a radioactive gas — invisible, odorless and tasteless — that requires special equipment to detect. It comes from rocks and soil found throughout the country. Indoor levels can be higher than outdoor levels.
High radon levels can cause lung cancer, especially for smokers and ex-smokers. The gas produces small radioactive particles that damage lung tissue over prolonged exposure.
SolarVenti can reduce radon gas concentration by 70-80% in your home through continuous ventilation.

Cooling and SolarVenti
Fresh ventilation in summer with zero operating costs.
The SV7, SV14, SV20 and SV30 models support an optional cooling kit with an extra fan. This fan is installed on the shaded side of the house and connected to the SolarVenti control unit or indoor thermostat.
When indoor temperature exceeds the thermostat maximum, the solar collector automatically stops and the extra fan kicks in. This allows alternating between warm and cool air intake.
The extra fan is powered by a solar cell mounted on the SolarVenti panel — zero operating costs and zero maintenance. It is the perfect solution for keeping your home cool during the warmer months.

Operation
The solar collector starts automatically when the sun shines. Solar rays generate electricity in the solar cell, powering the fan that pulls fresh air through the perforated back into the solar panel.
Air is heated and pushed into the house. On hot summer days, the system can be turned off; SolarVenti's patented design allows passive self-cooling, preventing overheating.
SolarVenti is the only air collector on the market with passive cooling capability in extremely sunny climates.
Easy Solar Cell Replacement
The SV20 model has the solar cell placed in the frame, allowing replacement in minutes without special tools. The solar cell temperature drops approximately 20-25 degrees under extreme heat conditions, providing greater electrical output to the fan.
How the SolarVenti Works
Comparison: SolarVenti vs Competition
Independent tests prove SolarVenti's superiority.
Simple Air Bag Test (390 liters)
A practical airflow test demonstrated the performance difference:
- SolarVenti SV7: filled the bag in 17.5 seconds = approximately 82 m³/hour
- Chinese model: filled the bag in 46 seconds = only about 31 m³/hour (with inefficient pressure)
Independent Delta Centre of Excellence Tests
Tests conducted by the independent Delta laboratory compared SolarVenti with other market brands:
- SolarVenti — SV7 and SV3 (manufactured in Denmark)
- Green Sun — GS30 / Air Max 75 / SPAH 3 (imported from China)
- ScanHeat — Model 400
Results showed that the SolarVenti SV7 requires significantly less time to replace air in a 50m² room, and the SV3 equally leads in the smaller model category for 25m² rooms.

SolarVenti and Health
How a healthy indoor environment can improve your quality of life.
Mold and dry rot thrive in humid conditions, being harmful to furniture, buildings and people. Allergic reactions caused by mold are numerous and growing. An estimated 25% of the Portuguese population will suffer from allergies at least once in their lifetime.
During winter and autumn, traditional ventilation means high energy costs. SolarVenti offers a simple, cost-effective solution for improved indoor climate, with zero operating costs and free supplemental heating.
The Problem
Modern homes are over-insulated, trapping humidity inside and reducing airflow. Traditional ventilation through doors, windows, and air ducts causes heat loss that costs money.
The SolarVenti Solution
SolarVenti installation costs are often less than half of a mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery. The equipment is extremely reliable and functions for many years without maintenance.
